Before UC: Drafted in the second round, 42nd overall by the Kootenay ice in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft... Played four years with the Ice before spending his final season of junior with the Medicine Hat Tigers... Spent the 2008-09 season in the BCHL with the Langley Chiefs... Won the WHL Championship with the Ice in 2010-11 with Dinos teammate Kevin King...
