2022-23: Helped the Dinos finish as the No. 1 team in the country and win the Canada West crown for the first time since 1996 … had a memorable rookie campaign, being named the Canada West Goaltender of the Year after posting a 17-2 regular-season record … also was part of the top goalie unit in CW on the year, winning the Adam Kryczka Memorial Trophy for allowing the fewest goals on the year … after suffering losses in two of his first three games, did not lose again the rest of the regular season … posted a 2.27 goals against average and a .914 save percentage … made his collegiate debut in the season opener at UBC Sept. 30 – a 5-2 loss … picked up his first win one week later, making 42 saves against Saskatchewan Oct. 8 … registered 22 saves in an OT win over Mount Royal Oct. 15 in what proved to be the start of Calgary’s 23-game win streak … picked up his first shutout with a 4-0 blanking of Trinity Western Nov. 18 … duplicated that effort result one week later, making 29 saves in another 4-0 shutout win, this time over Alberta … saved his best for the bright lights, turning in a season-high 46 saves in a 4-2 win in the Crowchild Classic Jan. 27 against Mount Royal in front of over 11,000 fans inside the Scotiabank Saddledome … after allowing four goals in his postseason debut, allowed just three the next two games and made a combined 64 saves in a three-game series win over Saskatchewan in the Canada West semifinals Feb. 23-25 … tallied 31 saves in the 3-2 CW final opening win over Alberta March 3 … in all, racked up a total of 599 saves in both the regular and postseason as a rookie.
