Before UC: Product of the Dinos Volleyball Club…four year veteran of Alberta provincial teams (2005-08)…named provincial tournament MVP in 2008…Standard HS athlete of the year in 2007…also competed in basketball, badminton, and track and field (javelin)…

Personal: Parents Randy and Susan…full name Sarah Marie Joy Moncks…studying in the Schulich School of Engineering, the only player on the team in that faculty…earned first class honours with distinction in high school (90+ average)…both parents played volleyball for the Dinos from 1978-83…both Randy and Susan (Sanden) were conference all-stars…both played for conference championship teams…joins sister Kat and Lindsay Doland as the UC volleyball players in history to be the child of two former Dinos volleyball players…
