Collin signs overseas with CSL Dijonnais

CALGARY – Dinos guard Amélie Collin is taking her game to France, signing with CSL Dijonnais of the Nationale féminine 1 league after a record-breaking senior season and five-year career with the University of Calgary women's basketball program.

The Rimouski, Que. native was a starter from Day 1 on the UCalgary campus, and her final season made a case for one of the finest in program history. Collin shattered the Dinos' career steals record in the first half of the season, surpassing the previous mark of 259, before turning her attention to the Canada West record books. She finished her career with 322 steals, eclipsing the previous conference record of 308, while also setting a new Canada West single-season steals record with 98.

Offensively in 2025-26, Collin tied for the team lead in scoring at 12.1 points per game, led the entire conference in three-point shooting and ranked sixth nationally, connecting at a 39.3 per cent clip.

The Schulich School of Engineering graduate started 90 of 94 regular-season games and 16 post-season games over her five-year tenure, helping the Dinos claim a Canada West title and a U SPORTS bronze medal in 2026, as well as a Canada West silver medal in 2023. She was named the 2026 U SPORTS and Canada West Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year to close out her collegiate career.

CSL Dijonnais competes in Pool A of the Nationale féminine 1, the third tier of women's basketball in France beneath the Ligue féminine de basket and Ligue féminine 2.
