VICTORIA – Swimming Canada has announced the team selected to compete at this summer's World Aquatic Championships in Singapore, with a pair of Dinos headlining the list.

Mike Blondal were both named to the star-studded team that will consist of 28 swimmers - 14 female and 14 male ahletes.
The athletes were selected based on their performances during the six-day Bell Canadian Swimming Trials held at Saanich Commonwealth Place in Victoria.
Lepage just completed her second year in the pool for the Dinos has already brought home six U SPORTS gold medals to go with nine Canada West gold medals. The Vernon, B.C. product was named both the conference and national rookie of the year a season ago, as well as the Canada West Swimmer of the Year as a first year.
Blondal will be entering his 32nd year leading the Scarlet & Gold this upcoming school year. A former Senior National swimmer himself, Blondal has guided the Dinos to 10 national champions to go with 15 conference banners as one of the most prominent programs in the country, year in and year out.
Open water swimming at the world championships is set for July 14-19, followed by pool competition July 26 to Aug. 3.
