From January 26-31, the Dinos Tennis Team embarked on an action packed 5-day adventure to the Sunshine State. Competing against five schools, both the men's and women's teams competed in over 70 matches for an incredible trip filled with many memories on and off the court. Led by head coach Andrew Ochotta and assistant coaches Yasmin Mansouri and Adam Bond, both teams had thrilling wins and well fought losses, ultimately returning home with enriched match experience and knowledge.

Co-captain of the women's team Maddy Fraser reflected on the trip stating "This trip was an incredible opportunity to play high level tennis and gain match experience. The sense of team pride and connection grew exponentially, and it felt really special to travel representing the Dinos."
The team was also lucky enough to have leisure time, exploring some of Florida's renowned beaches and attending a Miami Heat NBA game.
Challenging Division ll schools in the Miami area allowed the Dinos athletes to face experienced opponents, and the team demonstrated exceptional spirit, consistently encouraging each other to perform at their best.

"The Dinos arrived in Miami as individuals playing an individual sport, but came back as a team who have each other's backs and are ready to take on any challenge" said men's team captain Rahul Duggi.
This marked the teams first international trip of the year, previously playing in Edmonton back in November, and serves as part of their preparations for the upcoming regionals event hosted here in Calgary. The Dinos look to fight for a spot at the Western Championships in B.C. if successful in taking on rivals U of A, as well as the University of Manitoba.
The team extends gratitude to the Dinos Tennis Society for making the trip possible, as well as Rudy Rocque and Joe Jugovic for taking the time to join the team on the trip.
