Battle of Alberta showdown set for McMahon

| By:
CALGARY – The University of Calgary Dinos women's rugby team will host the University of Alberta Pandas in the first of two games between the teams.

This weekend's action will take place in McMahon Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 4 p.m. This will be the second-to-last game for both teams, before squaring off once again next week Friday in Edmonton.

BOUNCE BACK GAME
After a three-game slide on the road, the Dinos return home looking to get back into the win column. Facing their inter-provincial rival, there will be plenty of motivation going into the final two regular-season contests as they get set to host the conference championships.

CONTINUING THE STREAK
While the history between the Dinos and Pandas has produced many memorable contests over the years, the series has seen a pair of lengthy streaks, with favour currently on Calgary's side. After Alberta won eight straight over Calgary from 2009 to 2013, the Dinos have since claimed 12 wins in the last 13 showdowns, including 11 in a row since the start of the 2015 season.
