KELOWNA, B.C. – The visiting University of Calgary Dinos led from start to finish, defeating the UBC Okanagan Heat convincingly, 114-60, ending in a 54-point margin Saturday night.

Brett Layton was a force to be reckoned with, dropping a game-high 29 off of 14-of-21 shooting for Calgary, adding 16 boards.

Jacob Stokker and Philip Okanlawon were the offensive leaders for the Heat in the losing effort. Stokker chipped in 12 points going 40% from beyond the arc, while Okanlawon finished with 14.

The loss is the Heat's seventh in a row and drops them to (1-9) on the season, while Calgary stays undefeated and improves to (8-0).

Opening the game on a (13-2) run, the Dinos cruised to a (54-30) halftime lead. Layton, the fifth-year center for Calgary had 15 of his game-high 29.

Ezeoha Santiago chipped in eight of his 17 in the third quarter as the Dinos took a 25 point lead into the final stanza.

Calgary's 114-point effort is their highest of the season and the third game they've finished in triple-digits.
