First playing on Friday, the Cougars played a triumphant five-set thriller, led by Donaghy who contributed 17 kills and 13 digs. Cassidy Kitchen wasn't far off with 16 kills and 10 digs, while Natalia Klimenova had a match-high 20 digs. On Saturday, Mount Royal took the first two sets before Brandon went on a late charge brought on by the loud home-side crowd on their Seniors' Night. Nicky Zalasky registered 10 total blocks total alongside seven kills, while Dandenault had 38 assists and Klimenova led the Cougars with 14 digs.
