CALGARY – The University of Calgary Dinos men's volleyball team wraps up the regular season this weekend facing the Mount Royal Cougars in Crowchild Classic action.

HEADLINES:
- Calgary and Mount Royal met in non-conference against in Edmonton, where the Dinos won in five sets.
- The Cougars took both games against the Dinos last season, only dropping one set.
- The Dinos have already clinched the annual Crowchild Classic title, winning 11 of the 16 games to date against Mount Royal in basketball, hockey, and soccer.
No. 10 CALGARY DINOS (12-10)
- The Dinos ended a lengthy losing streak last weekend, sweeping the MacEwan Griffins at home.
- Fifth-year outside hitter Alex Bader ranks second in Canada West in hitting percentage at .303.
- Calgary will look to improve on their record away from home on Friday at Mount Royal. The Dinos are just 3-7 away from the Jack Simpson Gym.
MOUNT ROYAL COUGARS (7-15)
- The Cougars visited Brandon last weekend where they dropped both contests to the Bobcats.
- Mount Royal has had a strong second half, earning five of their seven wins in 2018.
- The Cougars are led by Tyler Schmidt, who ranks fifth in the conference with 3.42 kills per set, and Jonathan Phillips, who is second in digs per set at 2.39.
