CALGARY – The reigning Canada West champion University of Calgary Dinos return to action after a week off when they host the University of Regina Cougars.
First serve is set for 6 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday in the Jack Simpson Gym. With Regina's off-season cancellation of its men's volleyball program, the Dinos will play a pair of rare regular season single-headers while the men's team is on its second straight bye/
The Dinos had a good start of the season, after winning both opening games against the Thompson Rivers WolfPack and enter the weekend at No. 1 in the U SPORTS Top 10 rankings for the third straight week.
The Cougars are coming off a straight-sets win against the Winnipeg Wesmen last weekend, rebounding after two consecutive losses when facing the Trinity Western Spartans to open the season.
