CALGARY – The University of Calgary Dinos women's volleyball teams wrap up its regular season at the Jack Simpson Gymnasium this weekend with a couple of matinee games. After last weekend's sweep of the University of Regina Cougars, the 18-4 Dinos are guaranteed a home playoff game for the Canada West Quarter-finals starting next weekend.
Making the trip down Highway 2 this weekend are the Dinos provincial rivals, the No. 4- ranked University of Alberta Pandas. The Pandas attempt for an undefeated season was thwarted last weekend at UBC, as Alberta was swept in two highly contested matches. With the top four teams in Canada West separated by only two games there is still potential for movement in the standings in the final weekend of play.
