• These games feature a marquee matchup between Calgary's Mambi Diawara (1st in CW 26.3 points per game) against Brandon's Tyvon Cooper (4th in CW 22.8 points per game).
• The Dinos and Bobcats both succeed at putting the ball in the hoop. How they do it could not be more different. Calgary ranks third in CW in 3pt attempts while Brandon is last.
No. 4 CALGARY DINOS (6-0)
• Calgary carries the fifth-ranked defence in CW going into this weekend. Forcing bad looks and creating turnovers, the Dinos rank first in CW with 13.2 steals per game.
• David Kapinga has consistently stuffed the stat sheet through the first six games of the season. He is averaging 11 points per game to go along with three rebounds, four assists, and four steals
• The Dinos balanced attack has been magnified with the additions of Mason Foreman and Lucas Mannes. Foreman and Mannes are both averaging 10 points per game and giving 20 quality minutes off the bench for the Dinos.
BRANDON BOBCATS (2-2)
• Through four games Brandon is unmatched in getting on the glass. The Bobcats are first in CW and second in the nation in team rebounds, with John Paul leading the way. Paul is averaging a CW-best 10.3 rebounds per game.
• The Bobcats bye week comes on the heels of their sweep of the Victoria Vikes. Brandon dropped their opening two games to CW powerhouse Lethbridge Pronghorns by only eight points.
• Get them out of the way early. The Bobcats have one of the toughest strength of schedules through the first eight games in CW, with six of the first eight games of the season are against top four teams in CW.
