Peter Taylor is the tenth head coach in Dinos program history and hails from Australia. Currently working towards his Masters of Sports Coaching at Griffith University (Queensland, Australia), Coach Taylor is the Field Hockey Alberta Performance Director in conjunction with the Dinos head coach position. 

Playing since the age of 11, Taylor began his career with the New South Wales state youth teams from U15-U21, winning an Australian title, touring to New Zealand, and playing internationals for Australia U20 against South Africa in the process. He went on to play professionally in Holland for eleven years with clubs such as Rotterdam, Hurley and H.O.C. Gazellen-Combinatie (HGC). 

From there, Coach Taylor spent time coaching at a number of youth levels within those professional clubs from 2000-2014 and completed the highest level of coaching certificates for field hockey in Holland. He also led the HGC first ladies team in the top national competition. 

Coach Taylor moved to Canada in 2014 and began his coaching career with the Dinos in 2015.
