Jason Block captained the Dinos to their fourth straight Canada West men's swimming championship, beating out UBC by a whopping 244 points in the final team standings.

Individually, Block took gold in the 200- and 100-metre breaststroke events, as well as bronze in the 200-metre individual medley. He placed fifth in the 400-metre IM and swam the breaststroke leg of the gold medal-winning Dinos 4 x 100-metre medley relay.

A Calgary native, Block is a second-year student in the Haskayne School of Business. He and the Dinos now get set for the 2010 CIS Swimming Championships Feb. 18-20 in Toronto.
