Fourth-year middle Laura Spence put the cap on her career-best season over the weekend as the Dinos clinched a share of first place and the second seed in the Canada West playoffs with a pair of 3-0 sweeps over the Simon Fraser Clan.

Spence went 4-for-9 in the kills department on Friday night, adding four block assists and an ace, but it was Saturday night that she posted her ridiculous numbers. The Calgary native pounded nine kills on 11 attempts with no errors (.818), recorded four digs, and had two service aces as the Dinos swept past the Clan.

Spence and the Dinos (16-4) host the Regina Cougars this weekend in a best-of-three first round playoff series in the Jack Simpson Gym. The winner moves on to the Canada West Final Four in Edmonton.
