Tianna Kennett was a key player in the Dinos' success over the weekend, helping lead the team to their second straight Canada West women's wrestling title.
Kennett, a first-year nursing major from Manor, Sask., won the gold medal in the 59 kg weight class, earning Canada West rookie-of-the-year honours in the process. She was joined atop the podium by three teammates, earning the Dinos enough points to capture the conference title - the 10th in program history.
Kennett and the Dinos now shift their attention to preparations for the CIS championships Feb. 26-27 at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ont.
