Left side Greg Mann had a massive weekend for the Dinos men's volleyball team, which swept the Saskatchewan Huskies in its first action of 2012.
After the Huskies won the first set Friday and held a big lead in the second, Mann subbed into the match and quickly turned the tide in the Dinos' favour. In just over two full sets' work, Mann racked up 12 kills - the second-best total on the team - and led Calgary to a four-set win.
A night later, Mann got the start and racked up 17 kills on 31 opportunities. For the weekend, he put up a .510 hitting percentage - a significant total for a left side hitter - and was a key part of the Dinos' two wins over the Huskies.
Mann and the Dinos head to Edmonton this weekend for a date with their archrivals, the University of Alberta Golden Bears.
