After scoring three goals in the entire 2010 season, second-year Calgary Dinos striker Sarah Benson equalled that total on one weekend as the Dinos swept their annual home-and-home series with the Lethbridge Pronghorns.

Benson was responsible for three of Calgary’s four goals on the weekend, including both in Saturday’s 2-0 shutout victory in Calgary. Sunday in Lethbridge, she scored the game-winner in the 66th minute, collecting the ball out of a scramble in the penalty area and beating Horns ‘keeper Taura Willoughby for her third goal of the weekend.

Benson sits in a five-way tie for second place in the conference scoring race with three goals through four games.

The Dinos (3-1) host Fraser Valley (2-2) and Victoria (1-2-1) this weekend at the West Varsity Soccer Pitch.
