Third-year Dino Madeline MacDonald led her women's team to the Canada West title last weekend at the CIS Cross Country Championships in Sherbrooke, Que.

The 20-year-old nursing student finished the 5 km course in 18:35, good enough for second place in the Canada West race and 6th nationally - which earned her an All-Canadian nomination.

Along with her teammates, MacDonald was a huge part of the Dinos' sixth Canada West cross country championship in the last eight seasons.
