Fourth-year receiver Anthony Parker did it all for the University of Calgary Dinos in Saturday’s 40-33 win over the Regina Rams in Canada West semi-final action.

Offensively, he was unstoppable. On just five catches, the 2009 second team All-Canadian racked up 145 yards and three touchdowns, including a 70-yard bomb on the opening play of the game. His TDs came from 70, 20, and 45 yards from two different quarterbacks. He averaged 29 yards per catch on the afternoon and added 26 rushing yards to his total.

On special teams, Parker was also vital to the Dinos’ success. He had one missed field goal return for 38 yards, then added four kickoff returns for 58 yards. However, one of those kickoff returns came off a late Regina onside kick attempt, which he successfully caught and then headed out of bounds to give the Dinos the ball as they held on for the victory.

He totalled 267 all-purpose yards in the contest.

The Dinos (7-2) host the surprising Alberta Golden Bears (4-5) for the 74th Hardy Cup Championship Saturday, Nov. 13 at McMahon Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m., with the winner earning the right to host the Atlantic champion in the CIS Mitchell Bowl the following week.
