Jane Kolodnicki (née Cox) joined the Dinos in the summer of 2015, working as an assistant coach with the Calgary track & field program, specializing in sprints and jumps.

Kolodnicki brings over a decade of coaching experience to the Dinos, working with high schools in both the Calgary and Ottawa areas as both a head coach and a jumps coach.

On the track, Kolodnicki was a force to be reckoned with. She competed collegiately for the University of Alberta, where she won two national championships and held the national record in long jump at 6.14m. In all, she won a combined nine Canada West and U SPORTS medals across three disciplines. The three-time All-Canadian and Academic All-Canadian was inducted into the Pandas Hall of Fame in 2019 and the Canada West Hall of Fame in 2022.

The long jump and sprint specialist also competed for the Canadian National Team.

Kolodnicki earned her Bachelor of Education degree (with distinction) from Alberta in 1991, as well as a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa in 2004.
