Tom Knitter took over as Special Teams Coordinator in 2016 after assisting with defensive backs in the 2015 season and as an offensive assistant in 2014.

Knitter played three seasons for the Dinos (2011-13), appearing in three national semi-finals and the 2013 Vanier Cup at defensive back.

He is currently completing his education degree at the University of Calgary's Werklund School of Education. Knitter's grandfather, Keith Kendal, won a pair of Vanier Cup titles on the Dinos' coaching staff in the early 1980s.
