Alex Krausnick rejoined the Dinos program as a coach in 2016.

A two-time Canada West all-star along the offensive line during his four-year CIS career with Calgary (2007-10), Krausnick appeared in two Vanier Cups in 2009 and 2010. He was drafted in the fourth round, 27th overall, in the 2011 CFL Draft by the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He played for the Roughriders and the Ottawa REDBLACKS before going on to play for the Edmonton Eskimos, winning the Grey Cup in 2015.
