Colton Quinn

Colton Quinn joined the Dinos coaching staff in the summer of 2022, working as an assistant coach with the Calgary cross country and distance programs.

Quinn is no stranger to the University of Calgary or the Dinos program. An alumnus who competed for the cross country and track & field teams from 2015-18, Quinn finished his time in the Scarlet & Gold with a pair of Canada West medals to his name, including a trip to nationals with the 4x800m relay squad in 2018.

The Calgary native graduated with a Master of Kinesiology degree in Applied Exercise Physiology and a Master of Science degree in Health and Exercise Physiology. Quinn has been working on campus as an exercise physiology lab technician, and has been teaching graduate students the application of modern exercise physiology in clinical and high-performance settings. He assisted with the Dinos distance program this past season and helped launch a Dinos youth distance program that has already seen significant growth.

Said Quinn: "I look forward to working with the Dinos cross country and track & field programs, utilizing an evidence-based and holistic approach to help each student-athlete be as successful as possible during their time at the University of Calgary."
