Murray Fraser Awards

The Murray Fraser Awards are presented to two winners who exemplify the attributes of a true volunteer. Murray Fraser served as President of the University of Calgary from 1988 until his retirement in 1996. A dedicated supporter of the Dinos, Murray and his wife Anne were at numerous events supporting all teams during and after his tenure as President. Murray was a firm believer in student involvement in campus life and a total university education; thus this award for volunteerism.

AWARD WINNER - 58th ANNUAL NIGHT OF THE DINO:

Katerina Dolguikh has served as an assistant coach with the Dinos women's volleyball team for the past three seasons. A recent student-athlete at Simon Fraser University, she has brought valuable perspective to both the sideline and team environment. She is a strong advocate for athlete well-being, promoting physical and mental health, supporting academic success, and collaborating professionally with fellow members of the coaching staff. Dolguikh has balanced these contributions while pursuing a Master of Science in Community Health Sciences with a specialization in public health.
