DONATION REQUEST POLICY

Annually, the University of Calgary Dinos Athletics Department receives a very large number of requests for various donation items from organizations across the country.  The athletics department tries to fulfill as many requests as possible.  Some requests, however, may be denied based on product/ticket availability. Submitting a donation request form does not guarantee that the Dinos will be able to fulfill the request. Dinos Athletics does not have the ability to provide financial support to outside programs or organizations .

Donation Guidelines

1.    Donation requests must be received in writing, on company letterhead, at least 4 weeks prior to the scheduled date of the event. Requests received less than 4 weeks in advance of the scheduled event will not be considered.

Include the following in your request letter on company letterhead.
  • Date of the Event
  • How the item(s) will be used (raffle, door prize, auction, etc.)
  • What/who the proceeds will benefit
  • To whom and where a response may be directed (name, email address, phone #)
  • The company/organization mailing address & phone number
2.    Due to the volume of requests, organizations are limited to only one (1) request per year (September – August).

3.    Donations are limited to those organizations located within the greater Calgary area. Registered charities and minor sport organizations will receive priority.

4.    The Online Donation Request Form must also be submitted.
