CALGARY – University of Calgary Dinos swimmer
Alexanne Lepage has been named to Team Canada's roster for the 2026 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships, as announced by Swimming Canada.
Lepage earned her selection with one of the standout performances of the Bell Canadian Swimming Trials in Montreal, July 5-9, claiming gold in the 200-metre breaststroke with a personal-best time of 2:23.03. Her winning margin of nearly seven-tenths of a second placed her well clear of the field, and her time ranked seventh-fastest in the world this year in the event.
The fourth-year Dino will join a 44-athlete Team Canada contingent that includes Olympic medallists Summer McIntosh and Taylor Ruck, comprising 20 women and 22 men set to compete in Irvine, Calif.
The Pan Pacific Swimming Championships run Aug. 10-15, with open water events opening the competition before the long course pool program gets underway.
