CALGARY – For the second time in the first three weeks of the year, Vince Triumbari of the Calgary Dinos has been named the Canada West Special Team's BioSteel Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

In a win over provincial rivals Alberta, it was another strong game from Triumbari. The Stoney Creek, Ont. native went 3-4 on fields goals and was a perfect 2-2 on extra points in a game where every score mattered as Calgary downed Alberta 23-19 on the road to move to 2-1.
 
Triumbari now leads the conference through three weeks with seven field goals made and his 87.5 success rate also sits atop Canada West nearing the midway point.

This marks the fifth time in his career Triumbari has been named the Canada West Athlete of the Week.

Calgary now travels to Vancouver to take on UBC this Friday for a 7 p.m. MT showdown.
