In light of the uncertainty surrounding the Omicron variant of COVID-19, the University of Calgary is encouraging increased caution with upcoming events.

The following protocols are currently in place for Dinos Athletics events:

•  Spectators will be allowed to a maximum of 50% capacity, in accordance with the Alberta Restrictions Exemption Program.
• All members of the public 12 years of age or older must present proof of vaccination status to gain entry to Dinos events:
  • Effective Jan. 1, 2022, all individuals including visitors, guests and volunteers who attend university facilities must be fully vaccinated and upon request provide proof of vaccination.
• There will be no concession service. No outside food or drink is permitted inside venues, with the exception of water.
• Masking is required at all times in the venue. Staff will monitor compliance, and anyone refusing to wear a mask will be asked to leave.
• Physical distancing will be enforced in the seating areas. Fans are asked to remain in household units with at least 3m spacing.
