EDMONTON – Seven members of the University of Calgary Dinos football team were named conference all-stars in 2017, Canada West announced Thursday.
Receiver Michael Klukas and guard Ryan Sceviour recieved the honour on offence, while defensive linemen Cory Robinson and Brett Wade joined linebackers Boston Rowe and Micah Teitz, along with defensive back Adam Laurensse on the defensive side of the all-star team.
The No. 4 Dinos face the Alberta Golden Bears in the Hardy Cup semifinal Saturday at MacMahon Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. MT, live on TELUS Optik TV 997 and CanadaWest.tv. The winner will advance to the 81st Hardy Cup Nov. 11 against the winner of the other semifinal, which sees Regina visit UBC – also for the second straight week.
