Three Dinos on Grey Cup winning Eskimos squad

| By:
CALGARY – Three former Dinos celebrated with rest of the Eskimos when Edmonton won the 103rd Grey Cup in Winnipeg on Sunday.

Slotback Nate Coehoorn, offensive lineman Alex Krausnick-Groh and rookie linebacker Adam Konar all donned an Eskimos jersey this year.

Coehoorn had a reception that set up the game-winning touchdown for the Eskimos on Sunday. The slotback was selected sixth overall by Edmonton in 2011 and has been an Eskimo ever since. Coehoorn missed several games due to injury, but grabbed 35 passes for 313 yards this season.

Offensive lineman Krasunick-Groh played as a reserve for Edmonton in 2015, but saw plenty of action in the regular season. Rookie Adam Konar, selected in the third round of the CFL Draft after just one season with the Dinos and played in a number of games both on special teams and on defence as a linebacker. Later in the season, a nagging injury kept Konar on the sidelines on Edmonton's injury roster.
