The Dino Women's Field Hockey Alumni Association (DWFHAA) is a not for profit organization working in partnership with the University of Calgary to promote, enhance and foster excellence within the Varsity Field Hockey program. Focusing on the successful academic and athletic performance of team members and the continued involvement back to the field hockey community using education and volunteerism.
We are currently seeking an individual to fill the role of General Manager for the University of Calgary Dinos Field Hockey Team. This is a part time role during the Field Hockey outdoor and indoor season approximately 10-15hr/week during specific months.
Reporting to the DWFHAA Board of Directors, this individual will work in collaboration with the Dinos coaching staff as well as maintain and develop relationships with the University of Calgary and the Field Hockey community.
Your key responsibilities will include
• Logistics planning for competition travel (itinerary, hotels, transportation, administration)
• Logistics planning for home competition (umpiring, technical staff, administration, alumni hosting)
• Documentation
• General administration- tracking expenses, reporting of fundraising dollars, scholarships, documentation
• Assist with Fundraising events
• Communicating with board of directors, attending various board meetings
• Travel may be required

The successful candidate will receive an honorarium of $5,000.
